HCSD Invites Families to Participate in Annual Survey

The Highland Central School District is inviting families to share their feedback as part of the District’s annual Family-School Relationships Survey. Community engagement remains a key priority for the District, and family input helps guide important decisions that impact students, schools, and the broader Highland community.

To administer the survey, the District has once again partnered with Panorama Education. The survey is designed to help District leaders better understand families’ perceptions of their children’s schools and the District’s overall effectiveness. The feedback gathered will help inform ongoing efforts to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that support students’ needs and prepare them for college and careers.

All responses to the survey are confidential. Panorama Education safeguards participants’ privacy, ensuring that individual responses are not shared with the District.

Families can complete the survey online between now and March 27 using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Instructions for accessing the survey have been shared with families via email, and a postcard containing a QR code that links directly to the survey will also be mailed to homes.

Families who prefer to complete a paper version of the survey may visit their child’s school or contact the school’s main office to request a copy. Families with children in multiple schools are encouraged to complete a separate survey for each child.

The survey platform also includes a language selection option. Families who would like to complete the survey in another language can use the drop-down menu in the top left corner of the survey screen to change the default language.

District leaders encourage all families to participate, noting that the feedback provided plays an important role in shaping the future of Highland schools.

The Highland Central School District thanks families for taking the time to share their perspectives and for their continued partnership in supporting student success.
